Safety and confidence are the true lessons beyond textbooks.' A special awareness program was organized in the school auditorium, on the occasion of the visit by the Kalika Patrolling Unit, a campaign under the slogan ‘Empowered Women – Our Responsibility." It's an initiative of the Jaipur Police, which focuses on promoting women’s safety and awareness. The event was honored by the presence of the Nodal Officer of the unit, DCP Sunita Meena, along with the Squad In-Charge, Sub-Inspector Ms. Indira Ahlawat. Their presence added immense value to the
program, emphasizing the importance of active participation in promoting safety and responsibility among young citizens. They were warmly welcomed by the Hon. Secretary of the school, CA Amit Gattani.
Addressing the gathering, the team encouraged the students to remain alert and confident in every situation. They explained the significance of self-defense and highlighted how timely action and presence of mind can help in protecting oneself from any untoward incident. She also gave some tips on cyber safety. They urged students to use social media responsibly, refrain from sharing personal information online, and promptly report any suspicious activities. She stressed that self-defense is not just about physical strength, but also about mental preparedness.
The squad members conducted a live demonstration of different self-defense techniques, showing simple and effective moves that can be practiced by anyone. The interactive session was highly appreciated as many students actively participated and learned practical methods of self-protection. The objective of the program was to spread awareness among students, especially girls, about the importance of self-defense and personal safety.
The School Principal Ms. Reeta Bhargava appreciated the efforts of the Jaipur Police in ensuring safety and instilling confidence among the youth. She thanked the squad for their valuable guidance and expressed hope that the lessons learned would empower students to face challenges with courage and confidence.
